Dieting is already hard enough right? If you have big goals, it’s likely there will become a time when the diet gets challenging, so choosing an approach that offers the least amount of resistance is key, and this will be DIFFERENT for everyone. In today’s video I share some of my favorite lower calorie pantry products to help make the whole dieting process more enjoyable and sustainable.
The first time I ever attempted to lose weight was in my late teens and boy did I have it all wrong!
Fats were ‘bad’, Carbs were ‘bad’, certain types of foods were ‘bad’ and the restrictions I had created around foods left me basically only a handful of foods which no human could sustain for any period of time.
15 years on and a whole lot of education later, I want to share the TRUTHs about what is actually required for successful fat loss.
As I’ve learned over my career, a successful diet is not tied to the inclusion or exclusion of certain ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods, it’s about learning the fundamentals of energy balance, and how to include the foods I enjoy but within moderation.
One of the ways I have been able to achieve my physique goals, even as someone who loves to bake, is by getting creative and finding appropriate substitutes that tick the box not only for taste, but also my maco budget.
